A mixture of accommodation is available in this part of Playa Blanca from new self catering apartments up to the 5 star Gran Melia Volcan, this amazing hotel is set on rising ground behind the marina, and provides excellent views of the yachts and beyond towards Fuerteventura. Many of the most popular hotels are found beyond the marina in the Las Coloradas area of the resort, here the Iberostar Papagayo and the Papagayo Arena hotel s remain firm favourites with UK holiday makers. The 5 star Dream Hotel Gran Castillo is also another enticing hotel found in this part of the resort. The resorts development will not go further along the coast as this is home to the Playa Papagayo and is set in national park land.
